HISTORY:
Our annual lark began in January 2004. We wanted to get away for a long weekend to visit our dear friend Betsy in Cache,
Oklahoma. It was so much fun and so needed by all we decided to make it an annual tradition. This is our fourth year and going
strong. It has strengthened our bond as sisters and with our Mother. I feel so lucky and immensely blessed to be not only
related to such wonderful and strong women, but to call them all my friends...the memories made on these journeys will last
a lifetime and hopefully be passed on to our daughters. There is nothing so sweet and secure as the love, acceptance, and
support of our Sister circle.

TRADITIONS:
Not sure who came up with the idea of travel presents, but that has blossomed into
our favorite part of
the trip! Travel presents do have rules...we are supposed to bring
a bag full of small presents for each other. The rule
is that we each open one present every 50 miles.
(So much fun...like being a kid)
Well
that's the way it is supposed to be...
Now for the way it really is....
WE ALWAYS TEAR INTO THE
PRESENTS FIRST BECAUSE
WE CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER MINUTE!!!
(To hades with the rules, hahahaha)
Then as always we drive to Cache to visit Betsy. She
is queen for a day. We let her sit in the front seat and have the best time telling Olivia where to go and what to do...
we
do lots of fun shopping and catching up. Then we take her to dinner at her favorite place.
After that fun, we do WHATEVER THE HECK
WE WANT!!! (We mostly laugh alot)

I think this annual Trip helps us keep our sanity :)
